Andrew Callaway grew up in San Francisco and worked as a cinematographer. In 2015, he joined Radiotopia as a producer and his work has appeared on Reply All andThis American Life. He collaborated with Miranda July on her monograph book and Rebecca Solnit teaches his work at UC Berkeley. His latest series with Theory of Everything was a top show of 2024 according to The New Yorker and The Economist. In 2025, he made 99% Invisible's first video podcast, won a Signal Award for Most Innovative Video Podcast, and worked on video for Zohran Mamdani.
